Greetings!
NOTE! Mailchimp has decided to restrict their free account, and I’m moving to Squarespace to send the Museletter starting with this one. Now, it is costing me to send it out, but you guys are well worth it. Let me know if you have any trouble receiving or reading the issue.
So, our first week of 2025 is past. How was it for you? There is so much anticipation in the air. And not the good kind. Anxiety-filled anticipation. I’ve been dealing with it by editing more, listening to more music, and playing more with my geeky radios and Ardunios. It’s not like this old man has much control over what happens on the planet. I can only be an understanding ear for those who need one and try to fill my little corner of existence with as much beauty as I’m allowed.
I had a lovely shoot with Violet the other day, the first shoot of 2025. A few images are in this issue. Always fun. This month, a handful of shoots are scheduled, and a couple of models are visiting. It never hurts to have a busy month after two solid weeks of total quiet. I don’t like quiet anymore. I love being around people, making art, or simply talking. Ham radio helps there to some extent.
I have a very special video in this issue. I caught the very special bond between a friend and her cat. When Elley and I were about to shoot her on her bed, her cat wanted to be included, so we made that happen. You can feel the closeness of the two. Sadly, the kitty passed away not long ago—all the more reason to have captured that bonding love.
As I mentioned above, the Museletter is getting costly, but it is nothing I can’t handle. It will continue and remain free. For those who would like to support my art and the weekly Museletter, I’ve added a donate button at the bottom. Do NOT feel obligated in any way to donate. I just wanted to add the option. It is VERY evident when you meet me that I am a long way from being a ‘starving’ artist. I’m an artist who loves ice cream and cookies way to much to not make that evident looking at my profile.
Well, back to editing and making some new art. Meanwhile, enjoy the images in this week’s gallery.
