Greetings!

It is hard for me to comprehend how lucky I’ve been, especially in retirement. I have people around me who are all gracious, compassionate, and passionate. And somehow, they endure my friendship. That alone speaks volumes to their character.

Learning to create art with a camera started as a fun hobby. It grew into far more than I could have imagined, and it has turned into a much-needed escape from the planet at large. Yes, you are witnessing my therapy. Hours of losing myself in creation have kept me mentally grounded—well, mostly grounded.

This issue will feature Lisa Legs. A more appropriate nickname couldn’t be found, as you will observe. I had the pleasure of working with her and her husband for many years, and she’s gorgeous on so many levels. Her trust that I’d capture her was always there. Often, I expected her to question some suggestion of a pose, but I never observed so much as a raised eyebrow. She always came though ,and it was always beautiful.

I edited some new images of Lisa from past shoots, and those are mixed in with the classics from the archive. Many of the images you see are of a grandmother. Later, after we had stopped shooting, she became a loving mother once again. It will be hard to imagine from the art.

I have also been printing some cool things with my new 3D printer. Griffin is big time into gaming and provided me with a set of files she could use for her gaming environment. They turned out amazing. One was so large that it took 30 hours to print. Whew! That was a big one and fun to watch grow.

And my BIG radio (over 200 pounds) is back on the air and I’m having some great fun with it. I’m sure I mentioned that the transmitter was built when I was two years old. I am 72. Like a fine old car, it’ll be running decades longer than a new one will. If I had a time machine, I’d go back to the production lines of the old radios I have and watch the expression on their faces when I tell them their radios are still working in 2025. I expect I’d get to experience a straight jacket at some point in my time travels.

So, enjoy your life—your way! Pay no attention to how anyone else thinks you should live it based on their opinions and prejudices. Their way is to validate their life choices and mistakes. WTF! You do you; let them stew!
