Greetings!

Wow! I want to thank those of you who purchased prints of my art!

For an artist, there are so many satisfying aspects of creating art. From coming up with the concept to creating an image from that idea, editing it to make it jump off the page (or screen), printing it, and holding the finished art in our hands, each step is a delight to the senses, and the reward is the finished art.

The last and most satisfying moment is when someone is moved enough by the art to want a print of their own to hang up and enjoy every day. It is the proverbial cherry on top of something already so gratifying.

I’d like to give some kudos to Canon for creating one of the best printers I’ve ever worked with. The Canon Pro-1000 is a bit of a monster and makes a lot of noise when it wakes up and stretches before it is ready to print. But, whatever antics the engineers put it through, it pays off with the most beautiful prints I could ever imagine. And I’ve never once gotten a bad print. The colors and detail are always dead on perfect.

The studio is starting to light up with activity. It is going to great to see all of the activity, but my own shoots to people renting the space to make their own art. Music playing and strobes going off. You can almost taste the art in the air.

I’m excited that Elley is coming to shoot in a few days, and we will have some fun as always. I have a few other models coming over the next month or so; several of them will be new to my lens. Working with new people is a learning experience for everyone, and on so many levels—some definable and some not so much. The goal is always to create unique art.

As always, enjoy your day, and remember to surround yourself with your favorite people. And know that YOU are ‘favorite people’ to those who have chosen to have you in their life. And that’s it. There is nothing else. Okay, maybe ice cream.

So, as you are enjoying (I hope) some of my art, please consider picking something that moves you as something you might want to hang on your wall for inspiration. Art can change your mood and oil the cogs of your daily grind. Consider it. Prices start at $75 and go down from there.
