Greetings!

I’ll have to admit…I’ve been a bad boy over the last week. Not a single edit the whole week!! You’ll have to take my work for it that not editing put a dent in my soul for the week. What happened was that we had to be in Chandler for four days and I chose to not take my main editing computer, the Apple Studio. That choice was to force me to configure my Macbook 13” and 16” tablet. Getting everything loaded and fine tune it for my upcoming trips with it so I can edit from anywhere. Since we are heading to the North Rim of the Grand Canyon in a few weeks and then to Ireland and England a few weeks after that, I really needed to get that done. And I did accomplish that.

On the plus side, it means all of the next issue will probably be new edits from my old shoots. I’m very much looking forward to making new art.

We have regular afternoon storms up here at Bonita every day. We expect one in a few hours. Sometimes they bring us rain. Sometimes they tease us and let us watch it rain a mile away. In either case it makes it cool up here and that’s all that really matters. I’m typing this at noon yesterday and the doors and windows are open and fans give us a cool breeze. I’ll take it!

In September, I’m going to a fun week in Ireland. There will be models, other cool photographers, and a shuttle that will drive us around each day to amazing locations. I was signed up for this in 2019 just before the pandemic hit. Air flights were being canceled, and it pretty much fell apart. I was so looking forward to it. So, first chance I had to jump on a plane and get to experiance that trip, I jumped on it. It’ll be great fun meeting people and getting some amazing location work as well as some in and around various castles.

Once that week is up my son David is meeting me in Dublin and we are heading to England to enjoy London for a few days, stop at Wales to see some beautiful landscape, and live life without vowels for a day or two.

Then we’ll head back to Dublin and then Cork. We’ll check out Blarney Castle of course, and check out some of the beautiful surrounding countryside.

It will be fun to go back. I took my 16 year old grandson in 2019 and we spent a month there. I had the time of my life! I hope to go over once a year as long as I can. At least for the nine years left on my passport.

I’m hoping to make a few model contacts for when I go back solo so i can do some shooting on my own. We shall see. I may have my fill of Irish countryside images after that wurl wind week. Nahhhh

Stay cool and enjoy life. Spend it like you only have the one.
