Greetings from the North Rim of the Grand Canyon. It has been amazing up here with only one morning with plenty of nice cool rain. The rest of the time it has been in the mid 70’s and beautiful. And, of course, the big hole in the ground is pretty amazing, as always. Did you know the Grand Canyon gets deeper by the thickness of a sheet of paper every year? Or that we could take all of Florida that is above sea level and put it in the canyon and it would only be 10% full? I’m not sure if that includes the retirees and golf carts. I think we should try it, what do you think?

In a few weeks I’ll be heading to Ireland to shoot there for a week with models and castles and cliffs and beaches, etc. I’m excited. The models are all beautiful and there will be some wonderful wardrobe. And frankly, it is always fun for me to be around buildings that are older than I am.

After that week my son is joining me over there for another two weeks of experiences. I think we are even sneaking in an overnight trip to Paris through the tube. So, I’ll be able to say I have seen and touched the Ifle Tower and had actual croissants made in France while in France. I expect I’ll have some pictures to share.

I was chatting with Elley yesterday and we decided she was my last photoshoot and it’s been two months ago. I’m not sure I’ve had a dry spell that long since the big pandemic of 2019. I guess Ireland will make up for that? We shall see.

I do have several people wanting to have 1on1 classes and the online training has more subscribers right now that ever. So, there are some photographers out there wanting to up their game. That’s always good to see, and I enjoy teaching as much as I love shooting and editing. So, I’m a happy camper. In more ways than one right now I guess.

The other day, I posted something I found funny about Elon Musk on so-so media, and someone came down on me to take my own advice and not express my own political views and stick to doing nudie photos. Hmmm. Well, I say fuck that. If it was my own advice and choice I can change it. DONE!! For now, politically, I’m VERY pleased with how things are looking. ;)

In a few days I’ll be back at Bonita Creek enjoying naps in the swing and adding more educational content to the website. Like I’ve said before. Life sucks. For some people. Other than a sore back, my life is pretty good. It always has been.

Stay cool and enjoy life. Spend it like you only have the one.
