Greetings!

This issue features Keriann Nicole, an extraordinarily beautiful woman. If you are in Arizona and you are looking for a model that will make your portfolio shine, she’s amazing.

I’m here at a campground just north of Flagstaff enjoying a few days before heading to the north rim of the Grand Canyon to spend a week. It turns out we’ll be there on the same days as last year. And that was the maiden voyage of our little R-Pod trailer. I’ll try to remember to include a picture of our rig in the gallery. No question the least enjoyed image, but hey.

Yesterday we had a horrific rain storm. A good couple of hours of downpour. Even some hail. We found a couple of very small leaks in the trailer but considering the rain, I will give the trailer a break. Any normal rain would have not had leaks, and it kept us high, dry, and cozy the whole time.

These trips give me a chance to activate Starlink so we rough it with high-speed internet when we camp. Expensive, but we will be the first to admit we are hooked on being online. Also, the first to question our priorities.

Last night I tried to edit some new pictures and found a lot of things were not set up like they need to be on my editing station. This is a good time to fine-tune it and force me to use it so it’ll be good to go when I head to Ireland in a month. When I’ve had to do this in the past I usually discover things I either forgot I knew, or learn about new tools, so it’s not a bad thing to build up a new workstation.

I figured out that I have SIX little solid-state drives after collecting them over the years for one job or another. So, coming on this trip I brought them all along after putting a lot of my latest shoots on them to edit from. There are already a ton of older shoots, but favorites, so no excuses for coming up with some new art.

I brought some radio gear with me as I usually do, but this time I have some I love but rarely use. So, I have no choice but to enjoy them.

Unfortunately, we got a new laser printer at Bonita a few days before the trip and I twisted my knee moving it around. I have to remember I’m not all that flexible these days. I can still hike, just slowly and a little more painfully. Anyone thinking of growing old should note that the senior discounts don’t make up for the pain. I would still recommend it. It’s worth it. I have a loving wife and a good number of wonderful friends. And a couple of very cool hobbies that keep me busy.

Stay cool and enjoy life. Spend it like you only have the one.
